Since 2003, Adi Sappir has played in a trio known as The Mercurials. The band features Adi on cello and vocals, Mark Ferrie (SBS Rockwiz) on bass ukulele, guitar and vocals and Aria Award winning guitarist, Andrew Pendlebury.

The Mercurials have played in various music festivals. This includes Port Fairy Music Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Apollo Bay and Queenscliff music festivals. They have also performed at a variety of popular venues, such as the National Gallery of Victoria.The band has featured on radio shows, including a guest performance on ABC Radio’s Evening Show with Derek Guille, SBS Radio and Community Radio stations such as Triple R, PBS and 3CR. The Mercurials have also recorded and performed music in theatre plays and TV shows, including the hit television show Neighbours.
